Dr. A.J.V Chandrakanthan
Joseph A. Chandrakanthan was the the founding Professor of Christian and Islamic Studies at the State University of Jaffna in Sri Lanka. He graduated from Gnana Deepa Pontifical University in Pune India with First Class Honours and received his PhD from the University of Ottawa and a ThD from St. Paul University in Ottawa. He taught Ethics and Theology at Concordia University in Montreal.
Dr. A.J.V Chandrakanthan is now a professor at the University of Toronto. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the International Alert in London, United Kingdom. As an ardent advocate of Human Rights and Restitution Justice, he has given Public Lectures at the University of Oxford, Uppsala University in Sweden, and the State University of New York.
